Hyndman Project Overview
Summary: Hyndman is a rapidly emerging exploration target within Dryden Gold’s district-scale land package along the Wabigoon Deformation Zone. Extensive, coherent gold-in-till anomalies define a broad target area and point to a nearby bedrock source that remains largely untested. Early work suggests the potential for a different style of mineralization, positioning Hyndman as a compelling opportunity for new discovery within the district..
Location: Hyndman is located off the Trans-Canada highway east of the city of Dryden
Timeline or Stage: Early-stage exploration target based on prospecting and gold-in-till programs.
Deposit model: Initial discovery at Hyndman is associated with granodiorite intrusions but new gold-in-till results show 12-km by 1km corridor of gold anomalies associated with a regional shear zone comprised of interbedded sedimentary and volcanic rocks. Gold mineralization is associated with pyrite.
